Research Engineer (Chemical Engineering)

Our team is looking for a new member who shares a passion for solving the issue of plastic waste and would like to become part of a company that will lead the industry charge towards recycling of plastic waste.

Job description:

1. Responsible for research and development activities, operating, monitoring and maintaining pilot plant systems.

2. Responsible for the safe and efficient operation. Liasing with safety officer and operation teams, preparing work permits, risk assessments and safe work procedures.

3. Responsible for recording data, inspecting equipment, and performing minor maintenance.

4. Ensure that waste, chemicals, product handling equipment and assigned areas are kept clean.

5. Assist in plant system design and optimization, scheduling operation and maintenance activities.

6. Assist to maintain compliance with local regulations.

7. Assist in other tasks as directed by the supervisor.

Requirements:

1. Degree or Diploma in Chemical Engineering or related field of study. Fresh graduates will be considered.

2. 1-3 years working experience in chemical plant, manufacturing industry.

3. Excellent interpersonal skills.

4. Open to direction and collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done.

5. Software: Autodesk (Fusion).
