Safety Coordinator (Semiconductor)

Roles & Responsibilities

1. To evaluate and/or inspect equipment installation, site activities, workplace environment and practices to ensure compliance with Company’s, customers’ Safety Standards and government regulations.
2. Conduct site walk inspections and stand-down.
3. Ensuring Environmental, Safety and Health practices are carried out at all times.
4. Assisting Safety Officer in incident/workplace investigations and corrective action recommendations.
5. Conduct necessary risk assessment.
6. In charge of safety documentation and control.
7. Maintain the Safety Health Management System Filing and documents.
8. Other Ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

1. Possess a certificate in safety coordinator’s course or An Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B) or above and other relevant certificates.
2. 2 years of working experience in the Semiconductor industry.
3. Experience working in a multi-cultural workforce is preferred.
4. Proven experience as safety coordinator or similar.
5. In-depth knowledge of OSH guidelines and practices.
6. Excellent communication and advisory skills.
7. Diligent and cooperative.
8. Good interpersonal skills and a team player.
