Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Marine Equipment Wholesaler
• Position Title: Electrical Engineer/Service Engineer (Electrical)
• Working Location: Tuas West
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5.30 pm (One Saturday per month, 8 am – 12 pm)
• Salary Package: Up to $3,300 + Variable Bonus
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out testing and commissioning related to marine propulsion systems, power generation systems (Marine and Land), deck machinery, etc.
• Able to perform hands-on fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and maintenance of marine systems/components in workshops and on-board vessels.
• Must be willing to perform hands-on work in mechanical repairs, installation, and removals.
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings (Electrical and pneumatic).
• Provide support to the project team on the implementation of new projects.
• Provide technical support to customers.

• Minimum 2 years of related experience.
• Minimum Higher Nitec in Electrical Engineering, preferably Major in Power.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Candidates with experience in Electrical Control Systems are preferred.
• Comfortable with travelling (Anchorage/Local/Overseas) on short notice and at odd hours.
• Comfortable with working outdoors and onboard.
• Inexperienced candidates are welcome to apply, as training will be provided.
