Technical Engineer

ToolsEdge is a company that distributes, supplies and service air compressors, power tools, welding equipment, and etc.

The Engineer is responsible for installation and maintenance of air-compressors and vacuum pumps both in the office and on-site at customer premises.

Technical training and on-job training will be provided. The candidate is expected to work independently after training is completed.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Attend site survey, co-ordinate installation and design CDA (Compressed Dry Air) systems.
2. Manage technicians
3. Responsible for installation and maintenance of air-compressors and vacuum pumps according to the manufacturer procedure.
4. Prepare proposals and quotations to customers.
5. Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment faults.
6. Communicate with customers and contractors.
7. Report to Sales Manager.
8. Other administrative duties as assigned by the management.

Candidate Requirements

1. GCE O-Level, SPM or equivalent preferred
2. Able to speak and write simple English
3. Class 3 driving license preferred
4. Able to understand, troubleshoot and resolve issues in pneumatic/CDA system
5. Ability to work both independently and as a team
6. Good computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email, etc.
7. Background in either pneumatic, CDA, gas system, hydraulic, plumbing or fire protection will be advantageous
