Job Description - Technicians (Mechanical)

Responsible for maintenance and repair services of mechanical and electrical manufacturing systems.
Evaluates, selects and orders equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective for the manufacture of company products.
Oversees the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
Monitors, repairs and maintains production equipment to ensure continuous production.
Provides mechanical and/ or electrical repair.
Responsible for repair, preventative maintenance, data management, project support, control support and ISO audits support.
Maintains current records on equipment manufacturers’ technical notices, upgrades and safety issues.
Studies equipment performance and reliability.
Establishes programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process.
Defines and writes preventative maintenance schedules.
Responsible for equipment maintenance (corrective, preventive, predictive) of plant equipment, in comply with the Site Safety and GMP procedures.
Perform either 12-hours rotating shift or Non-shift works.
Support operation (day/ night shift) if needed.
Responsible for support the equipment qualification such as walkdown, punch list, commissioning, IQ/ OQ/ PQ on any new project.
Responsible for execution of work order and record job performed via MAXIMO system.
Assist in writing Job Aids and support Engineer in SOP writing, CCA or ER investigation.
Manage and lead contractor, vendors and service providers to perform maintenance works.
Lead and take part in continuous improvement efforts/ projects or JDI.
