The IT Manager is responsible for leading and managing the Group's overall Information Technology (IT) function, ensuring the reliability, security and continuous improvement of IT infrastructure, systems and digital services across the organisation. The role oversees day-to-day IT operations, cybersecurity, infrastructure, enterprise applications, IT procurement and asset management, while providing strategic direction to support the Group's business objectives.
Working closely with senior management, the IT Manager develops and implements the Group's IT strategy and roadmap, recommends innovative technology solutions, and drives digital transformation initiatives, including AI adoption and business process improvements. The role also ensures compliance with relevant data protection requirements, maintains robust cybersecurity practices, and leads the internal IT team to deliver responsive, efficient and high-quality IT services across all business entities.
Key Responsibilities
IT Strategy & Leadership
- Develop, establish and drive the Group's Information Technology (IT) strategy, goals and roadmap to support business objectives.
- Act as the primary technical advisor and liaison to senior management, aligning IT initiatives and investments with the Group's strategic direction.
- Lead and mentor the internal IT team, fostering technical development, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Drive the Group's AI adoption and enablement initiatives by identifying, implementing and promoting technology solutions that enhance business productivity and operational efficiency.
IT Operations & Infrastructure Management
- Oversee the Group's end-to-end IT operations, ensuring the availability, reliability and performance of network infrastructure, servers, endpoints and business-critical systems.
- Manage and provide day-to-day IT support across the Group, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
- Oversee system administration, including Microsoft 365, corporate email services, cloud platforms, physical servers and other enterprise applications.
- Manage system backups, disaster recovery planning, data archiving and business continuity measures to minimise operational risks.
- Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting for complex IT issues where required.
Cybersecurity & Compliance
- Develop, implement and maintain IT security policies, standards and best practices to safeguard the Group's IT environment.
- Implement network security measures and conduct regular security inspections and due diligence checks.
- Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations and internal IT governance policies.
- Oversee the protection, security and lifecycle management of all IT assets, ensuring proper inventory control and accountability.
Systems & Digital Solutions
- Evaluate, recommend and implement technology solutions that improve operational efficiency and support business growth.
- Manage the Group's Microsoft 365 ecosystem, ensuring effective administration, licensing and user support.
- Oversee the administration of corporate email systems and user accounts.
- Manage and maintain all Group corporate websites to ensure security, availability and content accessibility.
IT Procurement & Asset Management
- Lead the procurement of all IT hardware, software, cloud services and related technology solutions for the Group.
- Manage vendor relationships, software licensing and maintenance agreements to ensure cost-effective procurement and service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets and oversee their deployment, maintenance, replacement and disposal throughout their lifecycle.
Other Responsibilities
- Perform any other IT-related duties and projects as assigned by Management.
Requirements (About You)
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration and IT operations.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, network infrastructure and IT security.
- Experience leading and managing large IT projects, system implementations and technology upgrades.
- Good problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in IT procurement and vendor management would be an advantage.
- Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, with attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn, adapt and grow with the company.
