Technical Sales Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Technical Sales Manager to expand our presence in the semiconductor and advanced manufacturing industries. This role combines technical expertise with consultative selling to help customers solve critical process control and quality control challenges using advanced dimensional metrology solutions.

The successful candidate will work closely with customers, channel partners, and internal engineering teams to identify opportunities, develop solutions, and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with semiconductor manufacturers, equipment suppliers, and technology partners.
• Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territories.
• Understand customer manufacturing processes and recommend appropriate metrology solutions.
• Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and sales proposals.
• Coordinate with application engineers and technical support teams to address customer requirements.
• Manage sales opportunities through the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to order closure.
• Attend industry exhibitions, conferences, and customer visits to promotecompany products and services.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts and customer records in CRM systems.
• Provide market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback to support product development and business strategy.

Qualifications

Required

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience in capital equipment, industrial equipment, or technical equipment sales.
• Familiarity with the semiconductor industry and semiconductor manufacturing processes.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently.
• Willingness to travel to support customers and business development activities.

Preferred

• Experience selling metrology, inspection, microscopy, automation, semiconductor equipment, or related technical products.
• Knowledge of dimensional metrology and precision measurement technologies.
• Understanding of advanced packaging, wafer fabrication, semiconductor assembly, or electronics manufacturing processes.
• Experience working with international customers and channel partners.
