Bugis Street Outlets Pte Ltd seeks a proactive Warehouse Assistant Manager to support efficient warehouse operations, inventory management, and team supervision, ensuring accurate stock handling and timely order fulfilment.

Job Summary

Support daily warehouse operations by managing inventory accuracy, supervising staff, coordinating with teams, and driving process improvements to maintain an efficient and well-organised warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Warehouse Manager in planning and overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure smooth workflow
• Supervise receiving, stock-in, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch activities to maintain operational accuracy and timeliness
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile inventory to ensure data accuracy and prevent discrepancies
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Retail, and E-commerce teams to facilitate timely and accurate order fulfilment
• Monitor stock movements and maintain detailed, up-to-date inventory records for effective stock control
• Ensure all goods are correctly received, labelled, and stored according to warehouse standards
• Lead and train warehouse staff to enhance productivity, performance, and adherence to procedures
• Enforce workplace safety, housekeeping, and warehouse SOPs to maintain a safe and compliant environment
• Identify and support warehouse process improvements to increase operational efficiency
• Prepare detailed warehouse reports and assist with stock take exercises to support inventory management

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 3 years of warehouse or inventory management experience, including supervisory responsibilities
• Proficient knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations
• Experience using warehouse management systems or ERP software
