We are seeking a dedicated and highly organized individual to join our team to plan and oversee our F&B events. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge and experience hospitality, event management and food and beverages. He/she will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of F&B events, ensuring a smooth execution and providing a pleasant guest experience.
Job responsibilities:
· Event Planning and Coordination: Plan and execute events from start to finish, including budgeting, venue
selection, vendor management, scheduling, and logistics coordination.
· Client Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, understanding their event objectives, and
ensuring their needs are met throughout the planning process.
· Team Leadership: Manage a team of event staff and third-party vendors, ensuring all are clear of their roles and
responsibilities.
· Vendor Management: Source and negotiate with vendors such as caterers, florists, audiovisual technicians, and
transportation providers to ensure services are delivered on time and within budget.
· Budget Management: Develop and manage event budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effectiveness
while maintaining quality standards.
· Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with marketing teams to promote events through various channels,
including social media, email marketing, and advertising.
· On-Site Event Management: Oversee all aspects of events on-site, including setup, registration, coordination of
activities, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
· Post-Event Evaluation: Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of events, gather feedback from
clients and attendees, and identify areas for improvement.
· Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and innovations in event
management, incorporating new ideas and technologies into event planning processes.
Requirements:
• At least 6 years of work experience in F&B Events Management or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Good organisational, time management and multitasking abilities.
• Have a good business etiquette which is essential in formal and business settings.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Good knowledge of F&B trends and practices.
• Can work independently and collaboratively with a positive mind-set.
Education/Qualifications:
• Tertiary education and above
