Financial Planning Analyst

Purpose: Support Tech department financial planning, budgeting, expense analysis, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with Heads of Function to create and monitor annual BAU budgets.
2. Expense Management: Track, spend against approved budgets, identify cost savings, and manage invoice/PO approvals.
3. Reporting & Analysis: Perform variance analysis (actuals vs. budget) and deliver data-backed insights to management.
4. Compliance & Operations: Ensure adherence to tax, procurement, and accounting policies.
5. Stakeholder Coordination: Partner with internal tech leadership, finance teams, and external vendors/auditors.

Requirements

1. Experience: 2+ years in FP&A or finance.
2. Education: Degree/Diploma in Business, Accounting, or related field preferred.
3. Focus: Budgeting, expense analysis, variance reporting and PO/invoice approvals.
4. Technical: MS Excel (pivots, formulas), Financial reporting Power BI is a plus.
5. Key Skills: Strong numerical/dataset analysis, proactive mindset, and clear executive communication.
