Job Summary

The Assistant Cook supports the Head Cook by preparing and cooking meals, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals under the guidance of the Head Cook to meet quality and safety standards
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen to comply with food hygiene and safety regulations
• Follow food preparation and hygiene practices to ensure safe food handling
• Collaborate effectively with team members to support smooth kitchen operations
• Stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights to support kitchen activities

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a kitchen or food service environment
