ASSISTANT FLOOR MANAGER

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the day-to-day floor operations.
• Supervise and support floor staff to ensure excellent customer service.
• Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, and performance.
• Allocate daily tasks and ensure work is completed efficiently.
• Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and presentation standards throughout the premises.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Assist with staff training and onboarding of new employees.
• Support scheduling and manpower planning when required.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment or inventory checks.
• Prepare daily operational reports and communicate issues to management.
• Assist the Floor Manager with achieving operational and business goals.
• Act as the Floor Manager in their absence.

Requirements

• Diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.
• At least 1–3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Able to work weekends, public holidays, or shifts when required.
