OVERVIEW OF ROLE
The Bartender is responsible for delivering efficient, friendly and professional beverage service, ensuring guests receive a high-quality experience in line with NoMad standards.
This role focuses on service execution, product knowledge and maintaining operational excellence within the bar.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The main responsibilities of the Bartender are summarised below; however the list is not exhaustive.
GENERAL DUTIES
• Prepare and serve beverages in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation and readiness of the bar.
• Ensure proper setup and stocking of all bar items.
BEVERAGE KNOWLEDGE & SERVICE STANDARDS
• Mix, garnish and present drinks according to standard recipes.
• Maintain quality and consistency in all beverages served.
• Prepare ingredients, garnishes and mise en place daily.
GUEST EXPERIENCE & SERVICE STANDARDS
• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service.
• Take and process drink orders accurately.
• Provide menu knowledge and recommendations.
BAR OPERATIONS
• Input orders into POS accurately and manage guest bills.
• Handle cash and payments responsibly.
• Ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
COMPLIANCE & SAFETY
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, fire and hygiene standards.
• Ensure all team members are trained and compliant with safety procedures.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and team members.
• Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed consistently.

•Maintain a positive, friendly and professional attitude.
• Deliver consistent and high-quality service.
•Demonstrate teamwork and willingness to learn.
• Uphold brand standards at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum 1–2 yearsof bar or F&B experience.
• Basic knowledge of beverages and cocktail preparation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work flexible shifts.
