Bartender Assistant

JOB DUTIES

• Prepare and restock bar supplies such as glassware, ice, garnishes, mixers, and beverages.
• Preparing basic drinks and beverage ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, counters, equipment, and storage areas.
• Wash and polish glasses, utensils, and bar equipment.
• Replenish stock and monitor inventory levels, reporting shortages when needed.
• Receive and organize deliveries of beverages and bar supplies.
• Collect empty glasses and clean tables in the bar area.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Handle waste disposal and recycling according to company procedures.
• Provide friendly customer service by greeting guests and responding to basic requests.
• Support bartenders during busy periods to ensure efficient service.
• Follow responsible alcohol service policies and comply with health and safety regulations.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and securing the bar.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system or process payments when required.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisors to support daily bar operations.
