BILLING SUPERVISOR

Job Summary

Lead a team of billing specialists to ensure accurate, efficient billing operations. Oversee billing reports and invoices, develop procedures to improve efficiency and compliance, resolve billing issues promptly, and maintain clear communication with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of billing specialists to deliver accurate and timely billing operations
• Review and approve billing reports and invoices to ensure accuracy before client delivery
• Develop and implement billing procedures to improve process efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance
• Resolve billing and payment issues promptly to maintain client satisfaction and operational continuity
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all billing activities and transactions
• Communicate clearly with clients, stakeholders, and internal departments to address and resolve billing concerns

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume billing environment
• Experience collaborating with clients and stakeholders across organizational levels
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in billing or related functions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and billing software
• Demonstrated organizational and leadership skills through effective team management
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills applied in client and team interactions
• Detail-oriented approach with analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure billing accuracy
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
