Job Description & Requirements

We are looking for a Cook/Chef to join our kitchen team and support daily food preparation and kitchen operations.

Job Description:

• Prepare, cook and present dishes according to the company’s menu and quality standards.
• Handle daily food preparation, including cutting, marinating, cooking and plating.
• Ensure food is prepared in a clean, safe and hygienic manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, workstation, equipment and storage areas.
• Check food ingredients and assist with stock control when required.
• Monitor food quality, portioning and presentation before serving.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures at all times.
• Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Assist in menu preparation or improvement when required by management.
• Perform any other kitchen-related duties assigned by the company.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in cooking or kitchen operations is preferred.
• Able to prepare dishes consistently according to recipes and operational standards.
• Good knowledge of food preparation, kitchen hygiene and safety practices.
• Responsible, hardworking and able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Able to work as part of a team and follow instructions from supervisors.
• Able to work on weekends, public holidays and shifts when required.
