Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to prepare high-quality dishes, manage kitchen operations, and uphold food safety and hygiene standards to deliver excellent dining experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following menu requirements to ensure consistent quality and taste
  • Plan menus and develop new recipes to enhance the culinary offerings
  • Maintain food quality, taste, and presentation to meet company standards
  • Organize and maintain cleanliness of the kitchen to support efficient operations and hygiene
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies timely to prevent shortages and control costs
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to improve skills and maintain team performance
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, including NEA standards, to guarantee safe food handling
  • Manage food costs and minimize wastage to optimize kitchen profitability
  • Adapt to working in a fast-paced environment to meet service demands effectively
  • Lead and manage kitchen teams to foster collaboration and productivity
  • Work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, to support operational needs

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Chef or Cook demonstrating culinary skills and kitchen management
  • Knowledge of different cooking techniques and cuisines to diversify menu options
  • Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards to maintain compliance
