Job Description - CHEF DE PARTIE

  • We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring consistent food quality, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting the Sous Chef and Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to established recipes and standards.
    • Manage and oversee an assigned kitchen section.
    • Ensure all food is prepared and served consistently with the restaurant's quality standards.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work station at all times.
    • Monitor food quality, freshness, and proper storage of ingredients.
    • Ensure compliance with food hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations.
    • Assist in stock control, inventory management, and ordering of ingredients.
    • Minimise food wastage and practise proper portion control.
    • Support the training and guidance of junior kitchen staff and commis chefs.
    • Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.
    • Assist with menu preparation and daily mise en place.
    • Perform any other duties assigned by the Sous Chef or Head Chef.
