CHEF DE PARTIE

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring the consistent preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes in accordance with the restaurant’s standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Prepare and cook menu items to the highest standards of quality, consistency, and presentation.
• Follow instructions and guidance from the Head Chef and Sous Chef.
• Coordinate daily tasks with the Sous Chef and kitchen team.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with all team members.
• Ensure full knowledge of menu items, including recipes, preparation methods, and presentation standards.
• Uphold strict food hygiene, health, and safety standards at all times.
• Supervise and support junior kitchen staff, including training and development.
• Assist in stock control, inventory management, and minimisation of food wastage.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area.
• Work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Take initiative and demonstrate leadership within the team

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a professional kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen operations.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
