Job Responsibilities

General Cleaning Duties

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
• Dust and wipe furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
• Clean windows, glass panels, and mirrors.
• Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste properly.
• Clean and sanitize toilets, washrooms, and common areas.
• Replenish consumables such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels.

Maintenance of Cleanliness

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards at assigned premises.
• Ensure cleaning equipment and materials are properly stored after use.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Follow cleaning schedules and standard operating procedures.

Handling Cleaning Equipment

• Operate cleaning tools and equipment safely, including vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, and polishing machines.
• Use cleaning chemicals according to safety guidelines and manufacturer instructions.
• Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition.

Workplace Safety

• Follow workplace safety and health regulations.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
• Ensure work areas remain safe and free from hazards during cleaning activities.

Other Duties

• Assist with ad-hoc cleaning tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
• Support deep-cleaning activities during special events or periodic maintenance.
• Cooperate with clients and colleagues to ensure a clean and pleasant environment.

Requirements

• Physically fit and able to perform manual cleaning tasks.
• Responsible, punctual, and hardworking.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and overtime when required.
• Prior cleaning experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
