Commis Chef

Responsibilities

• Execute daily kitchen tasks to maintain smooth workflow and consistent service quality
• Prepare and present food following established standards to ensure high quality
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen to comply with food safety regulations such as NEA guidelines
• Collaborate effectively with kitchen team members to support food preparation and service
• Keep updated on menu items and ingredient details to assist in food preparation
• Assist colleagues with kitchen duties as needed to support overall operations
• Contribute to creating a positive and memorable dining experience for guests

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant culinary experience
• Culinary certification or diploma
• Ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Positive attitude with willingness to learn and develop professionally
