Key Responsibilities
You will be the backbone of our kitchen operations, assisting the culinary team in delivering high-quality dishes consistently. Your daily responsibilities include:
Prepare ingredients (chopping vegetables, marinating meats, preparing sauces) according to recipes and quality standards.
Manage and operate assigned kitchen stations during service hours under the guidance of the Sous Chef.
Ensure all food items are prepared, cooked, and plated efficiently, maintaining the highest standards of taste and presentation.
Assist with receiving, checking, and storing food deliveries. Practice the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method to ensure ingredient freshness and minimize wastage.
Maintain immaculate cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, workstations, and cold rooms. Fully comply with food hygiene, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Participate in opening, closing, and deep-cleaning shifts to ensure the kitchen is always service-ready.
Work seamlessly with both the kitchen team and front-of-house service crew to ensure swift food delivery and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
Prior experience in a commercial kitchen or a Certificate/Diploma in Culinary Arts is preferred, but a strong work ethic and passion for cooking are our top priorities.
Ability to work efficiently, stay organized, and remain calm under pressure in a high-volume kitchen.
A strong team player with a positive attitude and a desire to learn and improve.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen tasks.
