The Cook supports cooks and chefs in preparing and serving food on time while maintaining health, safety, and hygiene standards in the kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Assist cooks and chefs in preparing various food items to meet service timelines
• Follow food and beverage safety and hygiene policies to ensure compliance with health standards
• Implement operational procedures to deliver excellent service quality
• Maintain a clean, safe, and secure kitchen environment for food production
• Apply quality control procedures to ensure food meets required standards
• Receive, inspect, and store food products properly to preserve freshness and safety
• Respond promptly and effectively to service challenges to maintain smooth kitchen operations
• Make operational decisions and solve problems within the kitchen environment
• Understand and comply with halal food preparation requirements

Required competencies and certifications

• Possess a valid hygiene certificate
