Job Summary

As a dumpling chef, you will prepare handmade dumplings and cook them to quality standards. You will also support kitchen operations as a team player when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare handmade dumplings consistently to meet quality and taste standards
  • Cook dumplings efficiently to ensure timely service and proper food safety
  • Collaborate with kitchen team members to support daily kitchen activities and maintain smooth operations
  • Stand and work for extended hours to meet production demands and experiment with new dishes
  • Apply knowledge of food products and ingredient availability to plan and prepare cuisine effectively
  • Organize and supervise kitchen activities to maintain order and efficiency during shifts
  • Manage time effectively to oversee multiple kitchen tasks and ensure timely completion

Required competencies and certifications

  • Willingness to work any shift, including public holidays and Sundays
  • Commitment to long-term employment
  • Physical stamina to stand and work for long hours

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Openness to on-the-job training for career progression toward becoming a head chef
  • Ability to experiment and create new dishes through culinary innovation
