Job Description - FLOOR MANAGER

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Floor Manager to oversee the daily operations of the business and lead the floor team in delivering excellent customer service and operational excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, maintaining high service standards, and achieving operational and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the floor to ensure smooth and efficient business activities.
  • Lead, supervise, and motivate the floor team to achieve operational and customer service excellence.
  • Plan and allocate manpower effectively to meet operational requirements.
  • Monitor staff attendance, performance, grooming, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service by handling customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Conduct staff training, coaching, and performance evaluations to enhance team productivity and service quality.
  • Monitor inventory levels, stock movement, and coordinate replenishment to ensure business continuity.
  • Ensure the workplace maintains high standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation.
  • Prepare operational reports and analyse performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement operational strategies and process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations, company policies, and other relevant Singapore regulations.
  • Work closely with senior management to achieve business goals, sales targets, and operational objectives.
  • Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and staff development initiatives.
  • Resolve operational issues efficiently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant supervisory or management experience in retail, hospitality, F&B, or a related industry.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to work independently and under pressure.
  • Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
