General Manager – Japanese Restaurant

About Us:
We are a Singapore-based Japanese F&B group operating multiple restaurant brands across Singapore, with an expanding regional presence in Vietnam, Thailand, and Japan. We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead outlet operations and drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full P&L accountability for the outlet(s), including revenue, food cost, and labour cost management
• Oversee daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations to ensure consistent service quality
• Lead recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management of outlet staff
• Ensure compliance with SFA food hygiene regulations, licensing requirements, and MOM regulations (Progressive Wage Model, work pass quotas)
• Develop and enforce SOPs across outlets to maintain brand consistency
• Drive sales and marketing initiatives in collaboration with HQ (promotions, delivery platforms, KOL/media)
• Manage vendor and supplier relationships, including contract negotiations
• Monitor and respond to customer feedback (including online reviews) and resolve service escalations
• Prepare monthly operational and financial reports for management
• Support new outlet openings and expansion projects

Requirements:

• Minimum 5–8 years of F&B management experience, including at least 3 years in a senior/multi-unit management role
• Prior experience in a Japanese restaurant concept preferred
• Working knowledge of Singapore F&B regulatory requirements (SFA, MOM/PWM)
• Strong P&L and cost management experience
• Bilingual in English and Japanese is advantageous (liaison with Japan HQ)
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Willing to work on weekends/public holidays per restaurant operating hours
