Junior Sous Chef – Job Description
We are seeking a talented and driven Junior Sous Chef to support the leadership of our kitchen team. As Junior Sous Chef, you will assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, maintaining food quality standards, and ensuring a smooth and efficient service. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a professional kitchen, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Strong understanding of culinary techniques, food preparation, and kitchen operations.
Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Passion for hospitality, food excellence, and continuous improvement.
Familiarity with Singapore food safety regulations (HACCP, NEA) preferred.
