Job Description - Kitchen Helper

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the central kitchen with preparation of ingredients
  • Wash, peel and cutting a variety of ingredient and minimize food wastage
  • Preparation of food by cooking, frying, steaming, boiling etc
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils
  • Label and store food items properly in accordance with food safety regulations
  • Assist with inventory control and restocking of supplies
  • Dispose of waste and follow recycling procedures
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Company

Requirements:

  • Able to work within tight deadlines
  • Prior experience kitchen or food prep experience preferred but not required (training will be provided)
  • Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Physically fit and able to stand for extended hours
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • 6 days’ work week (Monday to Saturday, 0730hrs to 1730hrs)
