Lead Restaurant Manager (Cafe Opening Team)

We are looking for a driven and hands-on Lead Restaurant Manager to join our opening team and help launch and grow a new cafe concept in Singapore.

This role goes beyond normal day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will work closely with the founders during the pre-opening phase to help set up operations, build the team, establish SOPs, and support the successful launch of the cafe.

We are looking for someone with an ownership mindset who wants to grow together with the business long term.

Responsibilities

Pre-Opening Setup

• Assist with cafe setup and operational planning
• Support hiring, onboarding, and training of staff
• Help establish SOPs and workflows
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and vendors
• Assist with inventory setup and operational readiness
• Support launch preparation and opening execution

Operations & Management

• Manage daily cafe operations after launch
• Lead and supervise service crew and baristas
• Ensure strong customer service and smooth operations
• Manage scheduling, manpower, and shift planning
• Monitor inventory, wastage, and operational costs
• Maintain cleanliness and service standards
• Track sales performance and operational KPIs
• Work closely with founders to improve profitability and customer experience

Requirements

• Prior cafe, restaurant, or F&B management experience preferred
• Strong ownership mindset and willingness to be hands-on
• Comfortable working in a startup or fast-moving environment
• Able to solve problems independently and adapt quickly
• Good leadership and communication skills
• Able to work weekends and public holidays

Compensation & Growth

• Monthly salary: SGD 2,500 – SGD 3,200
• Performance bonus tied to cafe profitability and P/L performance
