Reporting to Head Chef
The North & South Indian Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking authentic North and South Indian dishes in accordance with the Company’s recipes, quality standards, and operational requirements. The role includes food preparation, maintaining kitchen hygiene, ensuring food quality, and supporting smooth kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of North and South Indian dishes, including curries, gravies, tandoori items, dosai, idli, prata, biryani, vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes Ensure food preparation and presentation meet the Company’s quality and consistency standards Prepare ingredients, sauces, marinades, spices, and food items according to recipes Monitor food quality, freshness, taste, and portion control Ensure timely replenishment of buffet and food service items Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times Assist in stock control, receiving, and proper storage of food supplies Minimize food wastage and ensure proper handling of ingredients Work closely with kitchen team members to ensure smooth daily operations Ensure compliance with company SOPs and safety procedures Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
