Purchasing Manager
- Manage the overall purchasing function and ensure timelyprocurement of goods and materials.
- Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to obtainthe best pricing, quality and delivery terms.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliersand monitor their performance.
- Review and approve purchase orders in accordance withcompany policies and budget.
- Plan purchasing activities based on inventory levels andoperational requirements.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with relevantdepartments to ensure sufficient inventory.
- Resolve supply, delivery and quality issues withsuppliers in a timely manner.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve purchasingprocesses.
- Prepare purchasing, inventory and cost reports formanagement review.
- Ensure proper documentation and maintain accuratepurchasing records.
- Lead and supervise the purchasing team to ensure smoothdaily operations.
- Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply ChainManagement, Purchasing or a related field.
- At least 3–5 years of relevant purchasing experience,preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong negotiation, communication and supplier managementskills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and purchasing systems.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks in afast-paced environment.
