Job Description

• Position Title: QA Executive
• Working Location: Pandan Loop
• Working Hours: 5 days (Mon – Fri, 6.00am – 2.00pm)
• Salary Package: Basic salary up to $5,000 + Variable bonus
• Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

• Attend container unpacking and carry out quality checks when goods arrive.
• Check pulp temperature, packaging condition, pallet condition, carton labelling, and overall shipment condition.
• Inspect fruit for defects such as bruising, decay, softness, dehydration, physical damage, mould, sunburn, shrivelling, and other quality issues.
• Verify product quality against purchase specifications and supplier agreements.
• Monitor product quality during storage and distribution.
• Carry out regular warehouse quality checks and stock rotation checks.
• Recommend sorting, repacking, disposal, or sales actions based on product condition.
• Ensure cold chain conditions are maintained during handling and storage.
• Prepare detailed Arrival Quality Reports (AQR) with inspection findings and photos.
• Record quality issues with supporting evidence for internal reference and supplier communication.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and quality databases.
• Prepare documents to support supplier quality claims, including reports, photos, temperature records, invoices, and disposal records where needed.
• Coordinate with surveyors, insurers, and suppliers during quality investigations.
• Support the Sales team by responding to customer quality enquiries and feedback.
• Monitor product quality and market feedback at wholesale markets and key customer locations.
• Collect feedback on product appearance, sizing, colour, taste quality, and shelf life.
• Share observations and recommendations with procurement and management teams.
• Follow Singapore Food Agency (SFA) requirements and company food safety procedures.
• Maintain proper hygiene and cleanliness during inspection work.
• Support internal audits and continuous improvement activities.

• Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Agriculture, Horticulture, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in fresh produce quality control or quality assurance preferred.
• Able to work independently and communicate clearly with suppliers and customers.
