QUALITY ASSURANCE EXECUTIVE

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing the performance and results of Quality Control and Assurance functions.
• Assist in leading, and mentoring Quality team to ensure productive and high-performance work environment.
• Develop, Implement, monitor and/or improve Quality framework and Standard Operating Procedures
• Implement and uphold food safety and hygiene standards; risk assessments; quality specifications; documentation and procedures to comply with SFA, FSSC 22000, HACCP etc statutory requirements and company policies
• Drive projects and initiatives to ensure compliance with Food Quality, Safety & Hygiene standards and requirements
• Support production team to trouble-shoot and resolve any product quality issues
• Ensure that all food safety, quality related and non-compliance issues are investigated and corrective measures are implemented and adhered to.
• Lead and coordinate internal/external quality audits with relevant parties
• Prepare Quality and Performance reports for submission to Senior Management
• Conduct Food Safety & Hygiene and HACCP related training to blue collared factory employees.

Job Requirements:

• Good understanding of SFA, FSSC / ISO 22K, GMP, HACCP, and other food related requirements and regulations in Singapore
• Hands on experience in similar industry setting
• Good understanding of food safety, health and environmental safety audit requirements.

Education, Experience & Training

• Diploma/ Degree in Food Science/ Technology or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience in the Food Manufacturing / Food Production industry
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Independent, proactive and meticulous
