Restaurant & Bar Manager

About Us

We are launching an exciting new restaurant and bar concept in the heart of Circular Road. The venue will feature premium food, craft beverages, live sports screenings, live music, DJs, and entertainment experiences. We are looking for a passionate and hands-on Restaurant & Bar Manager to lead our team and drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

• Oversee day-to-day restaurant and bar operations.
• Ensure smooth service during lunch, dinner, happy hour, sports events, and live entertainment nights.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, beverage presentation, cleanliness, and customer experience.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore food hygiene, workplace safety, and liquor licensing regulations.

Team Leadership

• Recruit, train, coach, and motivate service and bar staff.
• Prepare staff schedules and manpower planning.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing training.
• Foster a positive and high-performance team culture.

Customer Experience

• Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve customer concerns promptly.
• Build relationships with regular guests and corporate clients.
• Monitor guest feedback and implement service improvements.
• Ensure a memorable dining and entertainment experience.

Sales & Revenue Growth

• Drive outlet revenue through promotions, events, and upselling initiatives.
• Work closely with marketing teams on campaigns, social media promotions, and special events.
• Achieve monthly sales and profitability targets.
• Analyse sales reports and recommend improvement strategies.

Inventory & Cost Control

• Manage purchasing, stock control, and supplier relationships.
• Monitor food cost, beverage cost, and wastage.
• Conduct regular inventory audits.
• Ensure proper cash handling and daily sales reconciliation.

Event & Entertainment Management

• Coordinate live music performances, DJ nights, sports screenings, and private events.
• Work with vendors, entertainers, and sponsors.
• Ensure smooth execution of special promotions and themed events.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of managerial experience in restaurants, bars, hospitality, or nightlife operations.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Experience managing bar operations and alcoholic beverage programs is preferred.
• Strong understanding of food and beverage cost controls.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work weekends, public holidays, and late-night shifts.
• Experience with POS systems and inventory management software.
• Knowledge of Singapore F&B regulations and licensing requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing high-volume outlets.
• Wine, spirits, or cocktail knowledge.
• Event management or nightlife experience.
• Existing network within Singapore's F&B industry.
• Multiple Roles available and based on experience, suitable position will be considered.
