Restaurant Assistant Manager – Japanese Restaurant

About Us:
We are a Singapore-based Japanese F&B group operating multiple restaurant brands across Singapore, with an expanding regional presence in Vietnam, Thailand, and Japan. We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead outlet operations and drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily floor operations to ensure smooth and efficient service
• Supervise front-of-house staff, including scheduling and pre-shift briefings
• Handle customer feedback and service recovery on the ground
• Monitor cash handling, POS reconciliation, and opening/closing procedures
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, hygiene, and safety standards
• Support inventory checks and ordering of front-of-house supplies
• Assist with training and onboarding of new staff
• Deputise for the General Manager during their absence

Requirements:

• Minimum 2–3 years of restaurant supervisory or management experience
• Experience in a Japanese restaurant or F&B service environment preferred
• Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving ability
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Willing to work shifts, including weekends/public holidays
• Hands-on, team-oriented leadership style
