The Role

We are looking for a capable and hands-on Floor Supervisor to oversee front-of-house operations at our new modern Chinese cuisine concept in Dempsey. The ideal candidate has prior experience leading a service team, and takes ownership of the guest experience on the floor while guiding and supporting junior service staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily floor operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service throughout each shift
• Lead, guide, and supervise Waiters/Service Crew, ensuring service standards and etiquette are consistently upheld
• Manage table allocation, reservations, and guest flow, especially during peak hours
• Handle guest feedback, requests, and complaints professionally, resolving issues on the floor where possible
• Conduct briefings for service staff before shifts, communicating key updates (menu changes, VIP guests, promotions, etc.)
• Support training and onboarding of new service crew
• Monitor cleanliness, table setup, and overall presentation of the dining area
• Coordinate closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and accurate service
• Assist with basic administrative duties, including scheduling support, stock checks for service items, and end-of-shift reporting
• Step in to support service directly during high-volume periods

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Floor Supervisor, Team Lead, or senior Service Crew in a F&B/hospitality setting required
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to guide a team under pressure
• Guest-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask during peak service hours
• Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays as needed
• Basic proficiency in POS systems and reservation platforms preferred
