Sales & Events Manager

Job Summary

Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of events by consulting clients, developing concepts, managing budgets, coordinating vendors, and overseeing on-site operations to deliver successful and impactful experiences.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand their vision and define clear event objectives and purposes
• Develop detailed event concepts, themes, project timelines, activities, and resource plans
• Create and manage event budgets, source venues and suppliers, and negotiate contracts to secure optimal rates
• Identify, liaise, and coordinate with external vendors such as catering, entertainment, and audio-visual providers to ensure seamless service delivery
• Develop and manage detailed event timelines and logistics plans, including transportation and registration coordination
• Oversee event execution on-site by managing staff, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations
• Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success, gather stakeholder feedback, and identify improvement opportunities
• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure alignment and smooth collaboration
• Manage multiple tasks and deadlines to ensure timely and successful project completion
• Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers to optimize budget adherence
• Resolve problems quickly and adapt plans to unexpected challenges during event execution
• Lead and motivate event staff while fostering teamwork to achieve event goals
• Manage time efficiently and perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
