Waiters/Waitress

We are looking for enthusiastic and service-oriented Waiters/Waitresses to join our authentic Italian restaurant. The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, maintaining a clean dining environment, and ensuring guests enjoy a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and seat guests in a courteous and professional manner.
• Present menus and explain daily specials, food items, and beverages.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the restaurant's ordering system.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation standards are maintained.
• Check on guests during their meal and respond promptly to requests or concerns.
• Prepare and set up dining tables before service and clear tables after guests leave.
• Process customer payments accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the dining area, service stations, and equipment.
• Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Comply with all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations.
• Support opening and closing duties, including stocking supplies and preparing the restaurant for service.

Requirements

• Minimum GCE 'N' Level, 'O' Level, NITEC, Higher NITEC, or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a restaurant, café, or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Positive attitude with the ability to work well in a team.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is an advantage.
