Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Head of Operations with a deep understanding of Chinese cuisine, particularly hotpot, and extensive front-line working experience. This role will be responsible for overseeing the operations, performance, and growth of multiple hotpot restaurant locations islandwide, and requires a hands-on leader with a strong background in restaurant management, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
Responsibilities
· Ensure all locations maintain high standards of quality, service, cleanliness, and safety.
· Monitor and analyse the performance of each location, implementing strategies to improve sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
· Recruit, train, and mentor restaurant managers, creating a positive and productive work culture.
· Address customer feedback and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
· Ensure compliance with all company policies, health and safety regulations, and local laws.
· Develop and manage budgets, control expenses, and optimize resource allocation across locations.
· Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute local marketing initiatives and promotions to drive traffic and sales.
· Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain menu integrity and introduce new offerings.
· Report to shareholders, participate in strategic planning sessions and contribute to the long-term growth and success of the brand in the region.
Qualifications
· Proven experience as a Head of Operations or similar role in the restaurant industry preferably within a Chinese cuisine setting.
· Minimum 12-15 years of relevant working experience in the F&B industry (full-service, hotels, etc.)
· Extensive front-line working experience, with a deep understanding of kitchen operations.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
· Strong leadership and team management skills.
Solid understanding of financial management and business acumen.
· Diploma/Professional certificate in culinary (preferred but not a must)
· Comfortable to commmunicate with our primarily Chinese-speaking clientele and shareholders.
