Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our dynamic team in Singapore. As a Kitchen Crew member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and efficiency. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of ingredients and cooking of menu items according to established recipes and standards.
2. Cooking: Execute cooking tasks with precision and consistency.
3. Kitchen Maintenance: Keep the kitchen area clean, organized, and sanitized at all times, following food safety regulations and guidelines.
4. Inventory Management: Assist in inventory control by monitoring stock levels, replenishing supplies, and informing management of any shortages or discrepancies.
5. Quality Control: Ensure that all food products meet quality standards by inspecting ingredients, monitoring cooking processes, and following recipe specifications.
6. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff and team members to coordinate tasks, communicate effectively, and maintain a positive and supportive work environment.
7. Customer Service: Occasionally interact with customers to take orders, answer questions, and provide excellent service, especially during peak hours.
8. Adherence to Policies: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and guidelines regarding food handling, safety, and sanitation at all times.

Requirements:

1. Previous Experience: Prior experience working in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
2. Culinary Skills: Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment.
3. Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks in a hot and fast-paced environment.
4. Team Player: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with colleagues.
5. Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
6. Food Hygiene Certification: Possession of a valid food hygiene certificate is advantageous.
7. Singaporean Work Authorization: Must have the legal right to work in Singapore.

Package: 

1. Consistent working schedule of 44 hours/week
2. Paid overtime in accordance with MOM guidelines
3. Eligible for referral incentives

Salary Range: $2,400 - $3,300
