Kitchen Assistant / Commis Chef

Job Description

• Support Head Chef in running of the kitchen operations
• Ensure consistent and smooth running of food production
• Maintain high standards of sanitation, cleanliness, and safety
• Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene
• Manage all kitchen stock for daily operation, and outlet food cost control.
• Assist on month-end stock take
• Ensure that required standards are adhered to in the production and preparation of food - in quality, quantity and safety
• Passionate in delivering creative and quality food

Job Requirement

• Hold basic culinary qualifications with 1 year F&B kitchen experience
• Beginners are welcome
• Passionate about cooking and attention to details
• Keen to learn and positive attitude
• Be punctual and well-disciplined
• Good communication skills
• Weekly roster rotation
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
