Job Description - Sous Chef

Leads, plans and manage the working schedule of kitche staff
Provides guidance to junior kitchen staff memebers, including, but not limited to baking, food preparation and decorating
Overseas and organizes kitchen stock, ingredients and menu creation
Ensures a first-in, first-out food rotation system and verifies all food products are properly dated and organized for quality assurance
Hires and trains new kitchen employee to kictehn standards
managed food and product ordering by keeping detailed records and minimises wates, plus works with existing systems to improve waste reduction and manage budgetary concerns
Supervises all food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and kitchen standards
Taking charge of customer complaints, ordering ingredients and supplies
Any other ad hoc tasks assigned by the management
