Thai Cuisines Head Chef

Responsibilities:

• Develop and update the Thai menu, ensuring it reflects authentic flavors and caters to customer preferences.
• Create and standardize recipes for various Thai dishes, maintaining consistency in taste and presentation.
• Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating, to ensure high-quality standards are met.
• Manage kitchen staff, providing training and guidance on cooking techniques and procedures.
• Control food costs and maintain inventory levels to optimize profitability.
• Interact with customers to gather feedback and address any concerns regarding the food.
• Collaborate with the management team to develop business strategies and marketing initiatives.
• Stay updated on food trends and culinary techniques to continuously innovate menu offerings.
• Serve as a cultural ambassador for Thai cuisine, promoting appreciation for its heritage and authenticity.

Requirement:

• At least 5-8 years working experience in Thai cuisines.
• Minimum at least Diploma in Culinary Arts or equivalent.
• Ability to handle the fast-paced and unpredictable nature of the culinary industry.
• Extensive experience working in professional kitchens, with a focus on Thai cuisine if possible.
• Deep understanding and appreciation of Thai ingredients, cooking methods, and flavor profiles.
• Ability to effectively manage kitchen staff, delegate tasks, and foster teamwork.
• Genuine enthusiasm and love for Thai cooking and culture.
• Able to work on weekends/ PHs.
