6 months Contract Technologist (Bakery & Snack / R&D)

Location: West

Working Hours: Mon-Fri Office Hours

Salary: $4,000-4,500

Job Description:

• Conduct bakery and snack application trials in laboratory and pilot plant environments. Prepare formulations, ingredients, and samples for testing and evaluation.

• Independently prepare and bake products such as bread, cakes, cookies, crackers, and other baked goods for application testing and product evaluation.

• Record trial observations, collect experimental data, analyze data, and prepare basic technical reports and share with team members and project managers.

• Support product evaluations, customer sample preparation, and project activities as required.

• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, manage ingredients and sample, and comply with all laboratory and safety requirements.

• Support troubleshooting and optimization of formulations under the guidance of senior team members or project managers.

Requirement:

• Min Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline.
• Min 3 years of experience in R&D, food product development, bakery operations, or food manufacturing.
• Hands-on baking experience with the ability to independently prepare, bake, and evaluate bakery products such as breads, cakes, cookies, crackers, and other baked goods.
• Comfortable working in a laboratory and pilot plant environment, including standing for extended periods and handling food ingredients and equipment.
