Job Summary

The Ambulance Driver will provide safe, timely transport for patients to hospitals, nursing homes, and medical appointments, supporting medical crews and maintaining vehicle readiness.

Responsibilities

• Drive the ambulance safely and responsibly to transport patients to healthcare facilities
• Assist medical crew during patient pick-up and drop-off to ensure smooth transfers
• Ensure patients are transported with care and safety at all times
• Follow instructions from the Operations Team to support efficient service delivery
• Maintain ambulance cleanliness and readiness to meet operational standards
• Conduct basic vehicle checks before and after each duty to ensure vehicle safety
• Report vehicle issues, incidents, or delays immediately to Operations for prompt resolution
• Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, next-of-kin, nurses, and Carewell staff
• Adhere to company policies, safety procedures, and road traffic regulations during all duties

Required competencies and certifications

• Valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in ambulance driving or healthcare transport
• Ability to work weekends and public holidays as required
• Willingness to follow company duty roster and operational requirements
• Demonstrated good attitude, punctuality, responsibility, and teamwork skills
• Ability to communicate professionally with patients, family members, and healthcare staff

• Six-day work week
