Ambulance Paramedic

Carewell Ambulance Services Pte Ltd is looking for a responsible, committed, and qualified Ambulance Paramedic to join our operations team.

The Ambulance Paramedic will be responsible for providing patient care and medical support during ambulance transfers, emergency ambulance services, medical appointments, hospital discharges, nursing home transfers, and event standby duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide medical care and assessment to patients during ambulance transport.
• Attend to emergency and non-emergency ambulance cases.
• Assist in patient lifting, transferring, and safe movement using stretcher, wheelchair, or other equipment.
• Monitor patient condition during transport and provide appropriate medical intervention when required.
• Work closely with ambulance drivers, medics, nurses, and the Operations Team.
• Ensure proper handover of patients to hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, or next-of-kin.
• Maintain accurate documentation for ambulance cases, service sheets, and incident reports.
• Ensure ambulance medical equipment, oxygen, consumables, and emergency items are checked and ready for use.
• Follow company protocols, MOH/SCDF requirements, and infection control standards.
• Maintain professionalism when communicating with patients, family members, healthcare staff, and clients.
• Report any incident, delay, equipment issue, or patient safety concern immediately to the Operations Team.
• Assist with event standby duties when required.

Requirements

• Valid Paramedic certification or relevant emergency medical qualification.
• Valid BCLS + AED certification.
• Standard First Aid certification will be an advantage.
• Prior ambulance, emergency response, hospital, or medical transport experience preferred.
• Able to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
• Physically fit and able to assist with patient lifting and transfers.
• Good communication skills and teamwork.
• Responsible, punctual, calm under pressure, and patient-focused.
• Must comply with company policies, safety procedures, and operational requirements.

Working Hours

• Based on company duty roster and operational requirements.
• May include weekends, public holidays, and after-office-hour duties.
