Overview

Lead health services research and analytics initiatives to improve healthcare outcomes, inform policy development, and support evidence-based decision-making. This role combines research leadership, stakeholder engagement, grant acquisition, and strategic project management within a healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Research Leadership & Project Management
  • Lead and manage multidisciplinary research teams in the design, implementation, and evaluation of health services research projects
  • Partner clinicians and stakeholders to deliver impactful healthcare outcome studies
  • Ensure successful execution of research initiatives aligned with organisational and national healthcare priorities
  • Translate research findings into actionable recommendations for healthcare operations, policy, and service improvement
• Grant Development & Research Funding
  • Identify, pursue, and secure external funding opportunities and competitive research grants
  • Develop grant proposals and collaborate with stakeholders on funding applications
  • Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with funding requirements
• Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
  • Collaborate with healthcare institutions, academic partners, government agencies, and external stakeholders
  • Present research findings, project updates, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and partners
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships to advance research objectives and organisational goals
• People Leadership & Capability Building
  • Lead, mentor, and develop research staff and analysts
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing research environment
  • Support capability development and knowledge sharing within the team

Requirements

• Master’s Degree (or higher) in Statistics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or related field.
• At least 10 years of research/analytics experience, with 4+ years in a managerial role.
• Proven track record in clinical/health services research and project management.
• Experience in securing research grants (healthcare/AI focus preferred).
• Knowledge of healthcare operations in Singapore is advantageous.
• Familiarity with data analytics and AI applications in healthcare.
