Job Description - Assistant Manager - Rehabilitation Centre (Tiong Bahru)
JOB SCOPE/KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Administration
Responsible to the Assistant Director in all matters pertaining to administration, operations and management of SPD’s RC HQ and TTE programmes.
Recommend policies and practices for the efficient and effective operation and management of rehabilitation and support services under their purview and assist the Assistant Director in implementing those policies and practices.
Service Development & Sustainability
Assist the Assistant Director in organisational planning i.e. strategic planning, programme planning and services review of the programmes.
Assist the Assistant Director in ensuring the sustainability of the programmes, including funding exploration and renewals.
Networking
Responsible for outreach to referral agencies such as community organisations and hospitals for client referrals to the RC HQ and TTE.
Participate in events organised or supported by SPD and assist the organisation in developing strong networks with other Social Service Agencies (SSAs), community organizations, funding bodies like MOH, MSF, NCSS, SG Enable, AIC and business corporations to solicit programme funding to sustain the financial viability of the programmes and services offered.
Operations/ Professional Matters
Supervise a multidisciplinary professional team including therapists, social workers, employment support specialists, clinical support staff and administrative staff, and work with various government as well as community-based organisations to offer services to adults and seniors with disabilities.
Assist the Assistant Director by leading the professional team in developing the service models, setting service guidelines/standards and monitoring service delivery of programmes.
Preparation for programme audits pertaining to subvention, MOH centre-based guidelines, service quality, SGE (Hospital to Work, JPJS) on annual, bi-annual basis.
Responsible for achieving key performance indicators, providing progress reports and assisting in data analysis for planning and reporting purposes.
Keep abreast of latest development in service delivery of related areas to ensure that service delivery for our clients are kept updated.
Assist in submission of indicators to all relevant funding agencies such as MOH, MSF, NCSS and SG Enable etc. Coordinate the claims for submission to funding agencies.
Assist Assistant Director in preparing annual budget for the centres.
Other Duties
Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
JOB HOLDER’S REQUIREMENT
Masters or Bachelors degree in any discipline, with preference related to health science from a good University.
At least 5 years of relevant working experience in managing programmes for seniors and peoples with disabilities.
Excellent management and leadership skills with demonstrated ability to lead amulti-disciplinary team.
Good communication and problem solving skillswith ability to adapt to changing sector dynamics.
A good understanding and knowledge of the sector and dynamics.
