Seeking a commercially minded and analytical Business Analytics Manager to drive data-driven decision-making and business performance across the organisation. This role will be responsible for delivering actionable insights, improving reporting and processes, analysing customer and market trends and partnering with cross-functional teams to support strategic growth initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Business Performance Management
Analyse sales performance, profitability, inventory and operational metrics to identify trends, opportunities and risks.
Develop and maintain management dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Monitor business performance against budgets and forecasts and provide recommendations to improve results.
Prepare regular business reviews and presentations for senior management
Customer & Commercial Analytics
Analyse customer purchasing patterns, buying behaviours and product utilisation trends to identify growth opportunities and potential risks.
Develop customer segmentation models based on revenue, specialty, purchasing frequency and profitability.
Identify opportunities to improve customer retention, cross-selling and account penetration.
Support the Sales and Operations teams with customer insights and data-driven strategies.
Conduct pricing, product, and customer profitability analyses to support commercial decision-making.
Strategic Planning & Business Partnering
Support annual budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning processes.
Prepare business cases and financial models to evaluate new products, tenders and investment opportunities.
Partner closely with Sales, Finance, Operations and Regulatory teams to support business objectives.
Provide strategic recommendations and insights to management to support decision-making and business growth.
Data Management & Process Improvement
Ensure the integrity, accuracy and governance of business data across systems.
Identify opportunities to automate reporting and streamline business process
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
Minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience in business analytics, commercial finance, business intelligence, or strategic planning, preferably within the medical device, healthcare or distribution industry.
Proven experience in a managerial role with strong stakeholder management skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI; experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft is an advantage.
Able to translate data into actionable business insights and recommendations.
