Buyer (1 Year contract)

Job Summary

As a Senior Executive / Assistant Manager (Buyer), the incumbent will be you are to oversee end-to-end IT Procurement activities and working closely with internal teams and vendors to ensure the success of each procurement project. Vendor evaluation and risk assessment, project and process management, and contract negotiation and assessment are other duties.

You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that will require you to effectively balance diverse stakeholder needs while managing concurrent priorities.

Supporting the procurement requirements of the company including new innovation needs and working in a fast-paced and dynamic environments that will require the incumbant to be effectively balance diverse stakeholders' needs and requirments.

This is a new role and a 1 year contract.
Work Location: nearest MRT station (One North)

Job Responsibilities:

• Execute Request for Proposal/Quotation (RFP/RFQ) process including evaluation, negotiation and award recommendation
• Ensure that procurement of products and services are always carried out in compliance with procurement policy
• Work with internal users/stakeholders to ensure that the products and services procured fulfil users' needs
• Monitor and manage compliance with contract/agreement and communicate to relevant parties including Legal Team, if required
• Guide users on the completion of the requisition on eProcurement

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experiences, experience in IT Procurement will be an advantage
• Experience in using eProcurement tools
• Process knowledge of procurement governance
• Proven analytical and negotiation skills
• Strong verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels
• Proficient in MS PowerPoint and Excel
